Frequently Asked Questions

What SAT/ACT sections do you cover?
All sections — Math, Reading & Writing (SAT), English, Science, and Math (ACT). Most of our tutors have STEM backgrounds, so math and science sections are a particular strength.
How many sessions should my child do before the test?
We recommend starting 6–8 weeks before the test date with 1–2 sessions per week. Our 10-session package is designed for exactly this window.
Are sessions in-person or online?
Both. In-person sessions are available throughout NW DC, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Arlington. Online sessions are over Zoom.
How do I pay?
We accept Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Payment is collected before each session or bundle.
Can my child keep the same tutor every session?
Yes — we match your child to one tutor and keep that assignment consistent. Familiarity with the tutor directly improves session efficiency.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
No problem. We ask for 24 hours notice for reschedules. We work around your family's schedule.
